A-level (GCE) Government & Politics Examiners
Contract: short term
We’re welcoming applications from Teachers, FE Lectures or retired teachers who have taught A-level Government & Politics.
The role
Examiners will be required to attend an online examiner conference where training will be given on the procedures of marking GCE Government & Politics scripts. Examiners will mark their allocation of scripts online following candidates’ examinations between May and June. Examiners will be paid a fee for attending the examiner conference and a marking fee for each script marked. Examining is a rewarding and interesting experience that can also be undertaken alongside your existing teaching role.
About you
We’re keen to hear from current or retired teachers or lecturers with teaching and assessment experience in GCE Government & Politics. Candidates should be available for a period of approximately 3 weeks to undertake intensive script marking in May to June. Examiners are required to be a UK resident
