Business Development Associate

Working Hours – 0900 – 1700 Monday – Friday

Neath, Wales – Office based

Ready to kick-start your B2B sales career in a booming construction, residential market? As a Business Development Associate, you'll build relationships with residential developers, client managers and block managers, mastering the art of nurturing your clients, by telephone and remote and face-to-face selling.

You will assume responsibility for managing the full sales cycle; from lead generation to project conversion, ensuring commercial success whilst promoting our Products and Services. Office based with a national remit, the role may require some travel.

What You'll Do

* Research and map prospective residential developers, client managers and block managers

* Initiate targeted cold calls, LinkedIn outreach and email campaigns

* Cold-call and email decision-makers to introduce our solutions

* Schedule and lead Teams presentations and on-site meetings

* Support Senior Sales & Management with proposal development and bid submission

* Represent us at industry events and networking groups

Who You Are

* 6–12 months in a customer-facing role, or entry-level sales position

* Natural resilience, curiosity and entrepreneurial drive, curious to learn and improve

* Excellent listening skills and ability to build trust quickly

* Strong planner: diary management and territory mapping come naturally

* Full UK driving licence and willing to travel

What We Offer

* Base salary (£26k–£30k) plus bonus

* 22 days' holiday plus 8 bank holidays, pension

* Structured progression to Senior BDM within 18–24 months

* Mentorship, shadowing and regular skills workshops

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
