Job Description:
This role supports the Capital Delivery function and regional functions, focusing on empowering people to perform their best and supporting them through challenges.
As an integral member of the senior leadership team, you will proactively identify, plan, and meet the people needs of the business through coaching and facilitative approaches, aiming to improve performance. Building effective relationships, scanning for emerging trends, and developing people's capacity and commitment will be key.
You will use your business partner expertise to gain credibility quickly, operate as a senior management team member, and deliver solutions confidently, challenging at senior levels when necessary.
The ideal candidate will be Chartered MCIPD qualified or have extensive HR experience, including organizational development, change projects, and advising on employee relations. Strong stakeholder management, change management, communication skills, and current employment law knowledge are essential.
This role can be based in Birmingham, Manchester, or Milton Keynes.

Responsibilities
* Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives, focusing on talent, succession planning, and change management.
* Build strong relationships with senior leaders, coaching and advising on people initiatives.
* Lead and support change programs, champion HR solutions, and gain stakeholder acceptance.
* Manage trade union relationships collaboratively with relevant teams.
* Support ownership of people management and HR Business Partner models.
* Influence strategy and policy development through collaboration with HR centers of expertise.
* Work with various HR teams to improve services and address cross-business issues.
