Job Vacancy: Receptionist/ Office Assistant

Location: Lukestone Care Home, 7 St Michael's Road, Maidstone Kent ME16 8BS
Contracted hours: 40 hours (to include – every other weekend free, as applicable),

Work flexibility in accordance with your availability and the service requirements
(Hourly) rate of pay: £12.50

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Nellsar Care Homes as a Receptionist / Office Assistant, you will enjoy being a part of an exceptionally supportive team, welcoming you into providing excellent reception & administrative support to the Home and staff of Lukestone Care Home to assist in the smooth running of our service.

The perfect role for you
Working as a key member of the team, your role will be to greet and welcome all visitors to the home, following all the procedures for health & safety regulations and assist the administrative team for the business and finance systems and regular deliverables. You will possess the ability to manage your own workload, organise your time and act independently with excellent communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal).

You will have the opportunity to excel whilst:
The Receptionist/ Office Assistant responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

* Ensuring that all visitors entering the home are welcomed in a professional and polite manner, and they complete the signing in process for Fire Safety Regulations.
* Ensuring that all telephone calls and enquiries are always dealt with proficiently and professionally.
* Ensuring that mail to the Home is dealt with correctly, and all mail related to the home is post marked on opening and forwarded to the appropriate department/ individual.
* Ensuring that the company policy on Confidentiality is always adhered to.
* Showing prospective clients around the home and dealing with enquiries from prospective clients.
* We are passionate about making every day count and bringing colour and laughter to the people living in our home, their visitors and the team supporting them.
* You will be an important member of the Abbotsleigh family, who will support you to reach your goals and feel accomplished by enhancing other people's quality of life.
