Job Title: Director of Rehabilitation Services Location: Bluegrass Senior Living - Somerset, KY Position Type : Full-Time Facility : Bluegrass Senior Living Job Summary Bluegrass Senior Living is seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Rehabilitation Services to join our dedicated healthcare team. As the Director of Rehab, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our rehabilitation department, ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care, and leading a team of skilled physical, occupational, and speech therapists. Key Responsibilities : Oversee and manage the rehabilitation services team, including physical, occupational, and speech therapy staff. Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, including Medicare/Medicaid and state and federal guidelines. Monitor patient progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as necessary. Maintain a high standard of care, ensuring all rehabilitation services meet or exceed industry standards. Develop and implement departmental policies, procedures, and workflows to improve service delivery. Participate in the hiring, training, and evaluation of rehab staff. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless care for patients transitioning between different services. Manage the department budget and ensure cost-effective use of resources. Qualifications : Must be a licensed therapist (PT, PTA, COTA, OT, or SLP) in the state of Kentucky. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in rehabilitation services, with at least 1 years in a leadership or management role. Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards in a skilled nursing/rehabilitation setting. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrated leadership and team-building abilities. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
