If so, due to our ongoing growth, we are looking for an experienced Project Engineer to join our team and work on an ongoing project at Ealing Hospital, the role will include Boiler replacement and PSDS4 works; incl. ASHP/ WSHP, Solar PV, Secondary interventions, thermal insulation renewal, currently in RIBA Design Stage 3-4.

About the Role
A project engineer might split their time between the office (Design, proposals, Modelling) and site (Overseeing installation and commissioning). You’ll be technically responsible for ensuring the engineering side of the projects is solid, safe, compliant and cost‑effective. The ideal candidate would have M&E/ Solar experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Project Delivery – oversee projects to make sure they are delivered on time, within budget and safely, as well as coordinating with procurement, construction and commissioning teams.
* Collecting and analysing site, plant, and system data to generate comprehensive assessment reports.
* Producing comprehensive specifications for quotation and purchasing purposes.
* Interpretation of electrical drawings, evaluation of Factory Acceptance Testing and hardware specifications.
* Generation of Bill of Materials (BOM) to support procurement and assembly processes.
* Overseeing permitting and technical studies to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
* Managing the installation and commissioning of industrial systems including switchboards, containment systems, SWA cabling, inspection and testing activities, ensuring seamless integration.
* Writing comprehensive functional specifications and other documentation for control systems.
Skills / Experience
* Full UK manual driving licence.
* Health & Safety Qualification such as SMSTS, SSTS, IOSH, etc.
* HNC / HND or Degree qualification in an engineering subject essential.
* Experience within Solar or M&E.
