We're seeking a Merchandising Team Leader based in the Watford area. You will be an essential part of a field-based retail merchandising team, working across various high street retailers for well-known household brands. Our categories include: Books and Entertainment, Fashion, Grocery, Health and Beauty, Beers, Wines and Spirits, and Toys.
Your responsibilities will include supervising and training your team to ensure excellent service delivery, meeting targets and deadlines. Merchandising tasks involve setting up Point of Sale displays, checking stock levels, and replenishing fixtures. About the role:
The primary area is Watford, covering Hemel Hempstead, High Wycombe, Luton, Rickmansworth, Borehamwood, and NW London.
The role is 30 hours per week: 12 hours supervising at £12.70/hour and 18 hours merchandising at £12.21/hour.
How you'll deliver excellence:
1. Supervising
o Coordinate merchandising schedules for your area.
o Coach and train merchandisers on principles, processes, and procedures to ensure high-quality service.
2. Compliance and Standards
o Act as a compliance champion, ensuring adherence to standards and safety guidelines.
o Implement planograms to maintain consistency.
3. Product Placement and Replenishment
o Organize products on shelves to maximize visibility and appeal.
4. Promotional and POS Setup
o Set up promotional displays and signage effectively.
5. Communication and Relationship Building
o Build relationships with store colleagues and managers.
o Provide timely feedback to client teams via our app.
What makes you excellent:
* Willing to travel across the area
* Full UK driving license and a suitable car
* Comfortable with manual handling
* Experience in retail merchandising, retail, or customer service
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to work independently and proactively
* Pride in delivering high standards
* Experience in supervising or coaching (a plus)
* Willing to accept home deliveries for stock or POS items (additional pay)
* Confident using a company tablet for tasks
