Responsibilities & Expectations
* Communicates effectively with students, colleagues and parents/carers.
* Inspires a love of English and improves life chances through engaging and challenging lessons.
* Supports students of all abilities and adapts teaching to meet individual needs.
* Works collaboratively as part of a department team while demonstrating independence and initiative.
* Builds positive, supportive relationships that foster confidence and achievement in students.
Qualifications & Experience
* Essential: proven experience teaching English at secondary level.
* Positive, “can‑do” approach with genuine desire to provide high‑quality learning experiences.
* Ability to inspire and adapt lessons for diverse learners.
* Experience of working in a high‑performing, results‑driven school is desirable.
