Marketing & Events Manager
(Maternity Cover 12-14 month FTC)

About the Role
Are you a creative, organised, and strategic marketing professional with a passion for events? Medica is looking for a dynamic Marketing & Events Manager to lead our marketing campaigns and deliver a high-impact events programme across the UK and internationally.
This is a maternity cover role where you’ll play a pivotal part in shaping our brand presence, supporting commercial growth, and delivering exceptional experiences at over 30 events annually – from major industry exhibitions to bespoke Medica-hosted events.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Lead the planning and execution of our UK and international events programme (including Chicago, Dubai, and Singapore)
* Develop and deliver multi-channel marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness and commercial success
* Manage and mentor the Marketing & Events Executive
* Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to create compelling content and campaigns
* Act as brand guardian across all Medica Group entities
* Support marketing for Medica Ireland, RadMD, and Educate by Medica
* Oversee creative development using Adobe Suite and CMS tools
* Track and manage the marketing budget effectively

* 5+ years in a marketing role, with strong events management experience (both industry and owned events)
* Proven ability to develop and execute B2B marketing strategies
* Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), WordPress, and Microsoft Office
* Experience working with sales teams and senior stakeholders
* A confident, creative, and organised self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment
* Willingness to travel for events (UK and international)
