Lactalis UK & Ireland – Customer Demand Planner
Location: Redhill, Surrey. Hybrid working, 2 days working from home per week
Summary: Full end-to-end responsibility for the customer forecast, ensuring optimal customer service and minimal waste through collaboration with the customer and commercial teams.

Main tasks and responsibilities:
1. Create short, medium, and long-term customer forecasts to measure performance against budget.
2. Serve as the supply chain contact for the customer regarding service or supply issues; manage scenarios and contingencies to improve supply.
3. Reduce excess waste by negotiating derogations, clearance deals, or other solutions with customers.
4. Represent supply chain in internal and external projects as required.
5. Build and maintain proactive relationships with customers, utilizing knowledge of portal systems to monitor and manage in-store performance aligned with KPIs.
6. Monitor orders, EPOS, stockholding, OSA, waste, and other data to assist with stock management.
7. Collaborate with third-party logistics providers to address operational issues and identify efficiency opportunities.
8. Achieve departmental and customer-specific KPIs.
9. Challenge relevant business decisions impacting supply chain KPIs and escalate when necessary.
10. Coordinate with internal teams and customers on NPD and delist forecasts for accurate planning.
11. Participate actively in the IBP process and business unit meetings.
12. Conduct weekly 1-2-1 meetings with the sales team as per responsibilities.
13. Communicate data related to service or waste promptly and facilitate action plans.
14. Regularly cleanse data within FuturMaster to maximize system utility.
15. Coordinate seasonal event meetings for planning and review.
16. Work with supply planners and 3PL daily to optimize order fulfillment.
17. Prioritize stock with supply planners and commercial teams when allocations are needed.
18. Collaborate with the Debit Note team to resolve issues.
19. Minimum 2 years’ experience in FMCG supply chain, with demand planning expertise.
20. Experience working with commercial teams.
21. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
22. Effective verbal and written communication skills at all levels.
23. Knowledge of Futurmaster preferred.
24. Ability to develop strong business relationships through effective communication.
