Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant ready to support pupils in achieving their academic and personal best?
GSL Education are seeking a caring and motivated Level 2 TA to join a welcoming school community in Hull. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about education and helping young learners overcome challenges to reach their full potential.
As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and learning activities.
* Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils who require additional assistance.
* Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
* Assist in managing classroom behaviour and promoting positive learning attitudes.
* Support children’s emotional and social development, encouraging confidence and independence.
* Help with record keeping, classroom organisation, and preparation of learning materials.
Requirements for the Level 2 Teaching Assistant role:
* A recognised Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
* Previous experience working within a school or educational setting.
* A patient, nurturing, and proactive attitude towards supporting children’s learning.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
* A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any employment gaps.
