Hours: 8:30am–3:20pm, Term Time Only (38 weeks/year)
Start date: September 2025 – February 2026
The School and Role
A vibrant and inclusive primary school in Newport Pagnell is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team on a fixed-term basis from September 2025 to February 2026. You will support pupils across the school in whole-class settings, small groups, and 1:1 interventions, working under the guidance of the class teacher and Inclusion Team to promote progress and wellbeing. This role is ideal for candidates looking to gain further school experience within a supportive and welcoming environment.
Requirements
Please note: Only applicants with relevant experience will be considered.
Experience working with primary-aged children in a UK school setting
Understanding of effective behaviour management strategies
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A flexible, proactive, and supportive approach
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for a new one
