A well-established specialist contractor within the fit out sector is looking to appoint a Health & Safety Advisor to support the delivery and continuous improvement of its Health, Safety, Quality, Environmental and Sustainability (HSQES) function.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in Health & Safety, working closely with senior leadership and gaining exposure across both head office and live project environments.
The successful candidate will assist in maintaining high safety standards across the business while supporting the implementation of the company's HSQES management systems.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide support and guidance to site teams on health and safety matters.
2. Assist with conducting HSQES site audits, reporting findings and ensuring follow-up actions are completed.
3. Manage the Health & Safety induction process for new starters.
4. Work with internal teams to ensure H&S compliance at head office.
5. Compile HSQ performance reports and assist with presenting findings when required.
6. Support the HSQES Director in maintaining the HSQES Management System, including maintaining digital records and supporting internal audits.
7. Assist with HSQES communications and campaigns, including newsletters and internal bulletins.
