Responsibilities
The Credit Controller duties will include:
* Manage the credit control process, ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments.
* Maintain accurate financial records and reconcile accounts regularly.
* Collaborate with internal teams to resolve invoice disputes and payment issues.
* Prepare detailed reports on credit status for senior management.
* Review and assess credit risk for new and existing clients.
* Implement and monitor credit policies in line with company guidelines.
* Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards in credit control practices.
Qualifications
A successful Credit Controller should have the following experience/qualities:
* Proven experience in credit control or a similar accounting role.
* Strong knowledge of finance systems and practices within the retail sector.
* Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
