Our brand-new hotel in the heart of Belfast City is now looking for a Financial Controller who’s as sharp with strategy as they are with spreadsheets – someone who can keep us financially fierce – all while keeping the Moxy energy alive!
Your Mission: To be the financial backbone of the hotel – ensuring everything from forecasting to compliance is spot on, while helping the leadership team make smart, data-driven decisions that keep Moxy thriving.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Own the full finance function – reporting, budgeting, forecasting, compliance and controls.
* Deep dive – into the numbers to spot trends, opportunities and risks.
* Oversee – the financial planning including analysis, forecasting, budgeting and internal controls.
* Keep things audit ready – develop and maintain financial policies and procedures, ensure compliance with statutory obligations and optimise financial performance.
* Collaboration – work with the GM and department heads to drive cost efficiencies, achieve financial objectives, meet deadlines and maximise profitability.
* Co-ordinate – financial reports, including payroll stats and revenue forecasts.
What we’re looking for
* Proven experience – Minimum of 3-5 years accounting experience, ideally in hospitality.
* People leader – you know how to get the best from your team.
* A passion for precision – a head for detail and ready to negotiate.
* Top-tier – Excel skills, Microsoft Office and accounting software.
* Collaboration – a can-do attitude and teamwork fits right in with the Moxy vibe.
