Description
Support Worker - Mental Health and Housing
Location: Worcestershire - services in Kidderminster and Worcester
Type: Temporary, part-time (25 hpw), working in a 24-hour service, including late nights, weekends, and sleep-in shifts
Salary: Earn £12.60 per hour (£24,638 per annum) pro-rata, with benefits including Health Cash Plan

Typical day as a Support Worker
* Assist customers with daily living tasks to promote independence, such as making meals, shopping, budgeting, maintaining tenancies, and moving to independent accommodation
* Conduct risk assessments, support planning, goal setting, and reviews
* Build rapport through conversations and catch-ups; ample time to collaborate with colleagues
* Encourage customers to attend to their personal care independently; personal care is not provided directly

Note: Due to sponsorship limitations, we cannot offer sponsorship to external candidates. This role is not suitable for students on a visa. The position is for 25 hours per week and is under regular review.
