Are you an experienced bookkeeper with a passion for numbers and a flair for financial management? Adecco is proud to be recruiting for a dedicated Senior Bookkeeper on behalf of our client. If you are proficient in SAGE and XERO, and possess the skills to manage VAT returns, bank reconciliations, and prepare management accounts, we want to hear from you!
Position Details
* Role: Senior Bookkeeper
* Contract Type: Permanent
* Working Pattern: Full Time
* Annual Salary: £30,000 - £35,000
* Location: Fully office-based, based on the outskirts of Bury St Edmunds just off the A14. Due to location, you will need to have access to your own transport
Responsibilities
* Managing daily bookkeeping tasks using SAGE and XERO software.
* Preparing and submitting VAT returns accurately and on time.
* Conducting bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
* Preparing management accounts to provide insights and support decision-making.
* Providing general accounts support with payroll, credit control, payments to suppliers, etc.
* Collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
Qualifications
* Extensive experience in bookkeeping and accounting.
* Proficiency in SAGE and XERO.
* Strong understanding of VAT regulations and returns.
* Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
* Exceptional attention to detail and organisational abilities.
