We are currently looking for a highly customer-focused and enthusiastic Deskside Support Engineer, with a genuine interest in solving IT issues, to support our world-leading client based in Tadworth. Applicants must have the Right to Work in the UK.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
* Providing wide-ranging Deskside support to end users in office environments.
* Resolving issues accurately and efficiently, within set targets and in a professional manner.
* Maintaining a commitment to service quality and customer experience.
* Taking ownership of escalated tickets from the service desk and other teams.
* Working independently to identify and prioritize incidents, requests, and escalations.
* Supporting the client environment effectively.
* Documenting all activity accurately in line with ITIL practices.
* Contributing to the creation and maintenance of Knowledge Base Articles.
* Adhering to policies in a regulated environment.
* Following IT Asset Management procedures.
* Building and deploying PCs, troubleshooting network and printer issues, supporting software packages, and other IT tasks.
* Engaging in ad-hoc tasks with a positive attitude.
* Providing support in data centers and communication areas, including offshore team collaboration.
* Learning new skills and procedures to grow support capabilities.
Essential Skills / Qualifications:
* Willingness to learn and face challenges.
* Excellent English communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and in a team.
* Experience in Desktop support (3+ years).
* Hardware and software troubleshooting skills.
* Supporting Windows 10 and legacy Windows OS.
* Experience with Microsoft Office and Office 365.
* Experience working in a regulated/ITIL environment with ticketing systems.
* Knowledge of Network Infrastructure (switches, routers, APs).
* Server hardware support experience.
* Printer hardware knowledge.
* Willingness to support out-of-hours work.
* ITIL knowledge.
Desirable Skills / Qualifications:
* Motivated with good planning and customer service skills.
* Flexible with a positive attitude.
* Hardware repair accreditation.
* Windows accreditation.
* ITIL Foundation certification.
