- £170 daily rate based on experience Hours of Work: Monday to Friday hours will vary depending on the school Duration: Short term temporary role initially, but will be reviewed periodically HG Recruitment are recruiting for temporary RE TEACHER based in a secondary school in Liverpool, to deliver high-quality Religious Education lessons that inspire students to explore religious, philosophical and ethical issues.
Develop critical thinking and foster respect for diversity and different worldviews.
QTS required Key Responsibilities Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging RE lessons in line with the agreed curriculum and examination specifications.
Support students spirituals personal, social, and moral development.
Teach across a range of age groups and abilities, ensuring lessons are inclusive and accessible.
Use a variety of teaching strategies to promote discussion, reflection, and independent thinking.
Set appropriate homework and classwork to support learning and progress.
Assess, monitor, and record student progress, providing constructive feedback.
Contribute to the development and review of the RE curriculum.
Establish a positive learning environment with clear expectations for behaviour.
Support students spirituals personal, social, and moral development.
Act as a form tutor or pastoral support where required.
