Robert Half Finance and Accounting are now recruiting for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a well-known Scottish business based in Glasgow City Centre. Reporting into the Finance Manager, this role is a great opportunity to join a stable and growing business who are a true leader within their field.
As the Accounts Assistant, you will report directly into the Finance Manager with responsibilities including:
1. Processing purchase invoices
2. Dealing with inbound queries from suppliers
3. Statement reconciliations
4. Assist with the year end statutory audit process
5. Bank Reconciliations
6. Assist with production of the monthly management accounts including budgeting and cashflow forecasting
Working closely with the wider finance, team the ideal Accounts Assistant will have the following:
7. Previous experience in a purchase ledger function
8. High attention to detail
9. Recent experience working within a purchase ledger role
10. Can do attitude
The salary will sit within a range of £23,000 - £28,000 per annum plus benefits.
