Job Description
You will be responsible for:
* Maintain financial records by accurately recording monetary transactions and verifying documentation.
* Assist in the preparation of financial reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising account information.
* Process invoices, expense forms, requests for payment and similar paperwork.
* Support monthly and yearly audits and clean-ups.
* Ensure compliance with organisational financial procedures and regulations.
* Contribute to the efficiency of the accounting department by participating in performance improvement activities.
* Maintain confidentiality of financial information.
* Perform data entry tasks and manage financial spreadsheets.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
* A degree in Accounting, Finance or a relevant field.
* Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
* An understanding of bookkeeping procedures.
* Strong numerical skills.
* A detail-oriented approach with strong analytical skills.
* Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
