An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as the Registered Manager for the Care at Home service across Sutherland District.
The post holder will be the Care at Home Registered Service Manager and is responsible for planning, monitoring, and supervising the delivery of Care at Home to enable service users to live as independently as possible within the community. They will work with the wider team to plan and ensure packages of care are delivered appropriately, in accordance with assessment outcomes. They will also monitor and ensure the quality and standard of professional practice in line with Scottish Social Services Council legal requirements & NHSH policies and procedures. The service delivery will adhere to the Health & Social Care Standards and the regulatory standards of the Care Inspectorate, working closely with integrated teams and other partnership services.
The post holder should have recent experience working in a Health/Social Care setting, understanding the main issues and challenges facing community health and social care. They should be able to cope with a demanding work schedule and prioritize tasks effectively.
Applicants must have relevant qualifications to demonstrate their ability to meet registration requirements (if not already achieved, the post holder will be required to undertake the Registered Manager’s award).
The position is based at Lawson Memorial Hospital, Golspie. A full valid driving license and the use of a car for work purposes are necessary.
This is a fixed-term, full-time post until July 2026, working 37 hours per week according to service needs.
