An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Senior Social Worker to join the Mental Health Social Care Team in Richmond, based at Twickenham Civic Centre. This ongoing locum role offers a competitive hourly rate of £36.00 and the flexibility of full-time or part-time working. You will play a key role in supporting adults with enduring mental health diagnoses, ensuring person-centred approaches are embedded in practice while strengthening the frontline delivery of social care.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise a team of Social Workers and Social Care Assessors, ensuring high-quality practice and adherence to safeguarding policies
Act as Safeguarding Adult Manager (SAM) for Section 42 enquiries, leading safeguarding processes and oversight
Manage a complex caseload, delivering tailored, person-centred support to service users
Support the Assistant Team Manager and Team Manager with service delivery, development, and improvement initiatives
Lead duty management as part of the rota, ensuring timely and effective responses to urgent needs
