About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and detail-orientedVehicle Painter / Sprayerto join a leading Accident Repair Centre. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle painting, be confident working with a variety of paint systems, and maintain a high standard of finish on all repairs.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare vehicles for painting, including masking, sanding, and priming
* Mix and match paint colours accurately using manufacturer specifications
* Apply paint using spray guns and approved techniques to ensure a flawless finish
* Carry out blending techniques for seamless repairs
* Inspect painted surfaces for quality assurance before final handover
* Maintain paint booth cleanliness and follow all health & safety procedures
* Work efficiently to ensure timely turnaround and minimise rework
* Collaborate with other technicians and bodyshop staff as needed
Requirements
* Proven experience as a vehicle painter/sprayer in a bodyshop environment
* NVQ Level 2/3 in Vehicle Refinishing or equivalent qualification
* Skilled in using water-based and 2-pack paint systems
* Excellent attention to detail and pride in workmanship
* Ability to work to tight deadlines without compromising quality
* Familiarity with accident repair processes and insurance work standards
* Full UK driving licence (preferred)
