Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabrication and machining processes, with proficiency in operating CNC machinery. This role involves interpreting technical drawings, programming machines, and ensuring high-quality production standards while maintaining a safe working environment.
Responsibilities
* Operate CNC machines to produce precision components according to specifications.
* Interpret CAD drawings and SolidWorks models to set up and programme machines effectively.
* Conduct routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
* Utilise hand tools and tooling for assembly and fabrication tasks as required.
* Perform quality checks using basic maths and measurement tools to ensure adherence to specifications.
* Handle materials safely and efficiently within the warehouse environment.
* Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and resolve any issues that arise during machining operations.
* Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a CNC Operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in fabrication, milling, welding, and assembly.
* Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and their application in CNC operations.
* Proficient in using CAD software for interpreting designs and programming machines.
* Experience with materials handling techniques and safety protocols in a warehouse setting.
* Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations for measurements and quality control checks.
* Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
