Position: Account Executive / Trainee Financial Adviser
Location: London
A boutique firm of Financial Planners is seeking an experienced Financial Planning Administrator / Paraplanner to join the team in London as a Trainee Financial Adviser.
The firm is looking for an individual seeking support to complete their qualifications and progress to becoming a competent adviser within 12-18 months.
The daily responsibilities will include working within the London office of a rapidly growing national firm, performing duties such as:
1. Assisting with the work of Financial Advisers in a paraplanning/trainee adviser hybrid role.
2. Writing suitability reports.
3. Product research.
4. Case preparation.
5. Preparing annual review packs for existing clients and developing new business cases alongside a financial planner.
6. Analyzing and evaluating policy information for advice provision.
7. Shadowing the Financial Adviser in client meetings.
Applicants should have several years of industry experience, be studying towards their Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, and possess good knowledge of adviser analytical software, including experience with Intelligent Office.
