What you'll be doing
Using meticulous care, you will ensure that the customer orders are loaded correctly and accurately to a high standard.
You will be working quickly and efficiently together with our nights warehouse loading team to ensure all vehicles are ready for dispatch deadlines and helping to deliver the best possible service to our customers.
You will maintain a 'clean as you go' work environment to safeguard our excellent food hygiene standards.
This is a full-time contract, 40 hours,4 shifts per week, including weekends and Bank Holidays. Based at: Freshview Foods Ltd, Unit 2 Lowfield Drive, Wolstanton, ST5 0UU.
Start and finish times are - 7.30pm, until 6am - flexibility is required
Salary: £14.30 per hour
Your responsibilities
· To take ownership of each customer's order to ensure the correct quantity and required quality of produce are loaded on to the allocated vehicle.
· To ensure that any shorts or missing items are clearly identified using the correct procedure.
· To have a strong product knowledge in all the different categories we sell.
· To ensure that work areas are kept clean and tidy, by following our Food Hygiene and Health and Safety policies.
· To achieve the company standard in loading rate with minimal errors.
· To accurately complete paperwork following the correct processes.
· Assisting with other Warehouse duties as and when required.
· To report any quality or stock/shortage issues to management.
Skills & experience
· Driving licence is required, this role requires shunting of the vans within the yard.
· You will need to work to tight deadlines and have an eye for detail.
· Experience in manual handling as you will be required to lift and manoeuvre produce.
· Experience working with fresh produce would be desirable.
· Experience working in warehouse distribution or similar.
· Excellent time management, punctual and reliable.
