The role
Depending on your background, this role can suit:
* An experienced stairlift or a TFL / home lift installer
* An experienced field service / breakdown engineer
* An engineer confident in fault finding, repairs, and part replacement
* An engineer who enjoys a mix of installation and service work
Your day-to-day work may include:
* Installing stairlifts, through-floor lifts, and home lifts
* Servicing and planned maintenance
* Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs
* Part replacements and system testing
* Completing job reports accurately
* Delivering excellent customer service in customers’ homes
What we are looking for
* Proven experience working on stairlifts, home lifts, or through-floor lifts
* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
* Good mechanical and electrical understanding
* Safe working practices and attention to detail
* Professional, customer-friendly manner
* Full UK driving licence
* Strong English communication skills (spoken and written)
Nice to have (but not essential)
* Experience across multiple manufacturers
* 18th Edition or relevant electrical qualifications
* Experience in domestic mobility equipment environments
* LOLER / lift industry-related experience
