CK Group are recruiting for a Data Scientist to join a leading provider of advanced analytics, research and technology solutions to the life sciences industry on a contract basis for 3 months initially.\n\nSalary: Paying £34.25 per hour PAYE (inside IR35)\n\nData scientist role:\n\nPerforming quantitative and qualitative analyses to aid the development of recommendations for clients\nPreparing, executing, and following up on client meetings and workshops\nParticipating in the development of project methodology and innovation guidelines\nConducting independent desk research to specific briefs using internal and external sources\nCreating, with support from senior colleagues, reports, presentations, and other client deliverables\nAssisting in the development of proposals for clients\nSupporting discrete initiatives around the client's broad RWE strategy and own M&A activities \nDeveloping your knowledge of consulting methodologies and the pharmaceutical market through on-the-job exposure and formal training.\n Your Background:\n\nBA/BSc with a strong academic track record in life sciences, economics, business or other related field\n2 years of working experience in the life science industry and/or consulting\nProject management skills\nGood commercial awareness/business judgement and a passion for the healthcare/life sciences industry\nProven analytical, interpretative, and problem-solving skills\nStrong ability to build long-lasting relations and credibility with external and internal contacts\nExcellent attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work within tight deadline\nStrong commitment to rapid learning and skill developmentCompany:\n\n Our client offers research services and technology solutions in the life sciences industry.
