Our client is a well-known global company, a leader in their field who are continually expanding and growing within the market. A very exciting opportunity has arisen, to join our client’s team working as a National Key Account Manager.
The role of National Key Account Manager is to develop and manage the brand within the luxury and fashion retail sector in line with the UK strategy. Ensure all departments are engaged, supported, and motivated to maximize sales and profit potential in existing and new markets strategy.
Duties and Responsibilities of an National Key Account Manager:
* To achieve agreed business aims and objectives including sales, costs and profitability for designated key accounts.
* Successfully carrying out the agreed market development strategy by effectively planning and managing your personal business portfolio/territory/business
* Optimising the quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction by maintaining and developing existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and sustainable and ethical sales methods
* Always having available up to date, relevant and accurate information on customers and prospects contacts and activities by creating and maintaining a database of this information on systems and sharing with colleagues
* Ensure all necessary members of your designated key accounts’ associates are fully trained on relevant products by visiting stores and premises and through regular conversations with key staff
* Ensure all POS material is available and displayed in the stores as intended through regular conversations and visits
* Provide excellent market information and insight on designated segments/customers and report and share with colleagues through competent and thorough analysis of all possible information and channels
* Support on going sales by establishing and maintaining good working relationship with our distributors and dealers
* To aid business development and support excellent customer relations by attending and presenting at external customer meetings and internal meetings with other company functions, building and maintaining strong cross-functional relationships internally
Experience required:
* Significant Sales/Marketing experience
* Ideally experience as a National Account Manager/Key Account
* Manager looking for a step up to manage high profile national accounts
