Part-Time Role
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Drama Teacher to join a vibrant and supportive secondary school in Preston on a part-time, temporary basis from 1st September to 24th October 2025.
About the Role
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and creative drama lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring students to express themselves and develop confidence through performance and theatre studies. The successful candidate will be confident in planning and delivering high-quality lessons, managing classroom behaviour effectively, and contributing positively to the wider school community.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience teaching Drama at secondary level (KS3 and KS4)
* A creative and enthusiastic approach to teaching
* Strong classroom management skills
* An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
