Tesco Mobile Ireland (TMI) is undergoing a very exciting transition period as we are improving the technology and security throughout our systems. This role is part of the Tesco Mobile Ireland team, headquartered in Dublin, and will also work closely with the wider Tesco Technology team as required. Although the role will be based in our Welwyn Garden City office, it requires frequent monthly travel to and from our Dublin office.
Responsibilities
* Deliver security initiatives and coordinate security operations.
* Support business security requirements and leverage Tesco Group systems, services, and capabilities wherever possible.
* Maintain strong stakeholder relationships, evangelise security, and embed security into day‑to‑day activities.
* Understand the security posture of the business and its processes to effectively engage stakeholders in security improvement recommendations and cyber risk management.
* Present risk‑based security positions and recommendations to management and executive teams.
* Drive the information security improvement plans, incorporating Tesco Group security requirements.
* Ensure adequate registration, analysis, resolution, and reporting of privacy and information security incidents.
Qualifications
* Broad and deep Cyber/Information Security expertise sufficient to engage with and provide value to a range of stakeholders.
* Strong working knowledge of security management principles and practices, including vulnerability management, event management, application security, identity management, and incident response.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and proven ability to drive change, with a track record of building a security culture.
* Logical thinker with a strong analytical background.
* Ideally previously hands‑on experience in networks, sysadmin, software development, or security analysis.
* Security qualifications such as CISM, CISSP, CISA or equivalent are desirable.
* Project management experience.
