FirstFix Recruitment are looking to recruit a electrical supervisor for one of our clients. You will be working from their office based in Birmingham, this teams main work is currently based in the Social Housing sector. Our client is a growing company currently operating from two offices, Birmingham and Nottingham, with plans for expansion, there will be many other varied installations which will become part of our everyday workload as the company drives forth into new areas. Electrical Supervisor Duties: - Survey potential works and provide quotations - Produce RAMS and issue to the client - Produce / interpret job sheets, order materials resulting from job sheets and liaise with the wholesalers - Order materials when required for the stores and for programmed works - Programme works to be attended and completed - Liaise with the clients and engineers and offer guidance and instruction where necessary - Organise labour for the following work day, monitor the progress of the engineers throughout the day and rectify any problems / issues that arise - Inspect on-going work and supervision as required. - Inspect completed works and issue any non-compliance or rectification actions when required and ensure that all safety requirements have been met - Retrieve, check, adjust and complete the electrical certificates and send to the clients In this role you will be fully supporting the PDH and QS in all the required duties to ensure efficient and effective operations within the field based electrical teams. There will be a mix of on site and office work. Full training and mentoring will be provided by the current supervisor and other key personal within the office, so you fully understand the processes within the company. Our client are an ISO, SMAS & Safe Contractor accredited company and are committed to developing and training their staff to fulfil their full potential. You will also be required to complete the relevant electrical training standards course city & guilds 2391 to become a QS within 6 months.
