A humble, kind and friendly girl with autism and ADHD, who lives in Leith, is looking for a personal assistant to support her to get out and about or engage with her to do activities at home. The PA will give the girl constant support and help her to keep on track of whatever activity she is doing.
The girl likes to go out for a walk in the fresh air, go window shopping, go out for a juice, go to the park and play on swings. At home she likes baking, art and watching movies.
Experience of autism and working with children isn’t necessary but would be preferred. It is essential that the postholder be a member of the protecting vulnerable groups (PVG) scheme or willing to join.
The post is for an average of three hours per week. Employer looking for some flexibility so that one week it could be six hours and another, no shift.
The rate of pay is £12.87 per hour.
