Mechanical Project Manager - Healthcare Projects Salary: £90,000 - £95,000 + package Location: Stansted-based
We are working with a well-established M&E contractor to appoint an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join a growing division delivering complex healthcare projects.
This role is ideally suited to someone with strong hospital project experience who is comfortable operating in live environments and managing multiple stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivery of mechanical packages on healthcare projects, primarily within hospital environments
Full project lifecycle management, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
Subcontractor management against programme
Upstream client-facing project management and downstream coordination with contractors
Oversight of commissioning activities
Preparation and management of RAMS, inductions, and full health & safety compliance
Experience Required:
Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager
Strong healthcare background (hospital experience highly desirable)
Solid operational delivery experience
Commercial awareness and experience preferred
Background in ventilation and air conditioning systems
Experience managing programmes and commissioning phases
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Willingness to travel as required
Working Pattern:
Office-based in Stansted
Minimum of two site visits per week
Projects currently within a 50-mile radius, with potential for UK-wide projects
