East and North Hertfordshire Teaching NHS Trust offers a fixed‑term appointment for a Locum Consultant in Elderly Care pending substantive recruitment. The role is based primarily at the Lister Hospital, Stevenage.
Position Details
The posts comprise 10 programmed activities (PAs) including a non‑call commitment of 1.25 PA, with part‑time and job‑share applicants welcome. The job plan also includes two supporting programmed activities per week.
Responsibilities
* Maintenance of high‑quality patient‑centered care
* Shared responsibility for day‑to‑day management of the service and participation in strategic planning
* Teaching and training within the multidisciplinary service
* Active involvement in multidisciplinary team meetings and directorate clinical governance activity
* Active participation in continuing medical education
Location
Primary location: Lister Hospital, Stevenage. Supporting hospitals include New QEII, Hertford County and Mount Vernon Cancer Centre.
