Alexander James Recruiting are currently seeking an experienced and self-motivated sales professional to work for one the UK’s leading material handling dealers covering the NN & MK postcode areas. With steady growth over the last few years, this company offers its Area Sales Managers fantastic commission opportunities and have a strong reputation within the region they work.
Responsibilities
* Managing an existing client base across the NN & MK postcodes
* Business development across the same area
* Generate new business by visiting customers on site, conducting site surveys and providing customer quotes for forklift hire
* Sell a variety of other equipment to include plant hire, access and sweepers
* Providing a consultative sales approach in order to win new business in the hire and sale of material handling and related equipment
* Take responsibility for region revenue stream and overall growth
Requirements
You will ideally have worked in a sales role within forklift trucks before, with a proven track record in the industry. You will be proactive in your approach to selling and will have a solid understanding of equipment hire. The role is covering a well worked patch so the position is ideal for an experienced sales professional from within MHE looking for a change with the opportunity to sell a range of equipment. In terms of location, the company can be flexible for candidates anywhere around Leicestershire down to Milton Keynes.
