Their portfolio includes IGBT modules, power assemblies, EV system products, and more. As they enter a major growth phase, they are seeking a Business Development Manager to help expand their presence in industrial power electronics.
The Opportunity:
The client is looking for a commercially driven, hunter:style Business Development Manager to generate new revenue and open strategic accounts. The role involves leading customer engagements from the ground up, supported by technical and product teams, and delivering solutions that meet market needs.
Key Responsibilities:
:Develop and grow the customer base in industrial power electronics, including inverters, drives, UPS, welding systems, and automation.
:Identify and pursue new business opportunities, securing design:in wins.
:Build trusted relationships with engineering, procurement, and decision:making teams.
:Deliver high:quality technical and commercial presentations to support sales efforts.
:Represent the client at customer visits, trade shows, and key industry events.
:Provide responsive follow:up and support for all customer inquiries.
:Collaborate cross:functionally with product, technical, and marketing teams to align solutions with market requirements.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate is a confident and credible sales professional with energy, structure, and a results:driven mindset. They will bring:
:A proven track record in business development or sales within the power electronics or semiconductor market.
:Hands:on experience with components and systems such as:
:IGBT Modules
:Industrial Motor Drives
:Welding Converters / Inverters
:High:Power UPS Systems
:HVDC Converters
:Power Assemblies
:Familiarity with applications and companies like Siemens, ABB, Schneider Electric, or similar.
:A proactive, strategic, and well:organised approach to managing a territory.
:Willingness to travel regularly.
