Science Teacher (SEN) Full time, Permanent Christchurch Start date - September 2024 The School and Role An SEN school based in Fareham is currently seeking an SEN Teacher to start as soon as possible. The school caters for young people aged 6 to 16 years old who have an Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP) for Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH). The students have a range of needs that include childhood trauma, social anxiety, school phobia, Autism, ADHD, Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) and Oppositional Defiance Disorder (ODD), among others. Requirements The desired Teacher will have; - QTS - A degree or equivalent - Experience of teaching primary and/or secondary school aged children - Experience working with children with SEN/SEMH - A passion for the progress of pupils - An ability to work as part of a team What we offer As a Teacher part of our team, you benefit from: · Excellent daily rates paid using the PAYE system.
