Due to rapid growth within the business, OCU Group are currently recruiting for a National Grid Competent Person to join us in Neath!
This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the safety and efficiency of electrical infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure compliance with National Grid safety standards and regulations.
* Conduct inspections and maintenance of electrical infrastructure.
* Perform risk assessments and implement safety measures.
* Assisting with site operations, deliveries, and general supervision as needed
* Respond to emergencies and outages promptly and effectively.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a National Grid Competent Person.
* A National Grid Competency Card (NS16 / NS18)
* Strong knowledge of National Grid safety protocols and procedures.
* Relevant certifications and training.
* Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
