Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Sports Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sports coaching and teaching, with the ability to inspire and motivate players of all ages and skill levels. This role involves developing training programmes, enhancing players' skills, and promoting teamwork and sportsmanship.
Duties
* Design and implement training sessions tailored to the needs of the groups you will be working with.
* Teach fundamental skills, strategies, and techniques relevant to the sport.
* Monitor and assess performance, providing constructive feedback for improvement.
* Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages participation and enjoyment of the sport.
* Organise and lead practice sessions, drills, and competitive events.
* Collaborate with other coaches, parents, and staff to promote athlete development.
* Ensure adherence to safety protocols during training and competitions.
Skills
* Proven experience in sports coaching, with a strong understanding of various coaching methodologies.
* Excellent teaching abilities that can engage and motivate athletes effectively.
* Strong communication skills to convey instructions clearly and provide feedback positively.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
* Knowledge of sports rules, regulations, and best practices for athlete development.
