We are currently supporting a fantastic client based in Skipton who are looking for a Finance Assistant to join their business in this newly created position. The company is part of a wider national Group but offers a working culture of a close knit and supportive team, which you could be a part of!
The business has grown steadily over the last few years through investment and acquisitions, which has then allowed them to capitalise on its established reputation and develop its service offering to its customers. Its an exciting time to join and they are looking for someone they can give autonomy too and become an integral part of the team.
Duties as Finance Assistant will include: -
1. Manage the sales ledger process covering both matching, batching, and coding as well as query resolution.
2. Manage the purchase ledger process about both customer orders and internal overheads.
3. Prepare supplier statement reconciliations and payments, on an accurate and timely basis.
4. Maintain the ledger details about the supplier and customer contacts, ensuring internal protocol is adhered too.
5. Prepare all the payroll submissions ready for the FC.
6. Manage the company credit card process and payments.
7. Ensure daily bank reconciliations are performed daily and all receipts and payments are accountable.
