The Role As HR Advisor, you will be a key point of contact for all people-related matters, providing managers with expert advice and guidance while ensuring compliance with employment law and company policy. You will also play an active role in shaping HR processes and contributing to the wider HR strategy. Key responsibilities: Acting as the first point of contact for managers on employee relations issues, including disciplinary, grievance, performance, and absence management. Coaching and supporting managers to handle HR matters confidently, fairly, and consistently. Reviewing and enhancing HR policies and processes to ensure compliance and effectiveness. Supporting the delivery of HR strategies aligned with business goals. Offering practical, commercially aware solutions that balance business needs with employee wellbeing. Encouraging and promoting a positive, inclusive, and supportive workplace culture. Skills & Experience A minimum of 15 years’ HR experience, with strong generalist expertise. CIPD qualification. In-depth knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice. Previous experience in an HR Advisor role or equivalent. Strong problem-solving skills with a pragmatic and solution-focused approach. Excellent relationship-building skills across all levels of the business. Professional, approachable, and diplomatic manner with strong communication skills. High attention to detail, strong organisational ability, and confidence working in a fast-paced environment. Package Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 DOE performance bonus. Hours: Monday – Thursday 8:30am–5pm, Friday 8:30am–4pm. Hybrid working: 2 days from home / 3 days in office. 31 days annual leave (increasing with service, with buy/sell option).
