We are looking for Service Technicians to join our team! This position will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC related systems and equipment.
This is a full-time position located in York, PA. Hours are Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM.
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following.
* Installs new boiler and/or HVAC units in commercial, or industrial buildings.
* Installs ductwork and thermostats to control HVAC system.
* Performs routine maintenance on boilers, burners and HVAC systems to ensure proper operation.
* Instructs customers in the use of equipment.
* Inspects and troubleshoots problems with existing boilers, burners and HVAC units.
* Installs replacement parts on existing boilers, burners and HVAC units.
* Maintains inventory of replacement parts and orders replacements.
* Complies with company, customer and industry safety standards.
* Completes work orders in a timely manner; including appropriate paperwork
* Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Extensive knowledge of boilers, burners and HVAC systems and equipment.
* Ability to use power and hand tools.
* Ability to use thermometers, pressure gauges, and other testing devices to evaluate boilers, burners and HVAC system.
* Ability to read operation and repair manuals for boilers, burners and HVAC systems.
* Ability to follow instructions.
* Excellent mechanical skills.
* Excellent communication skills, as required to interact with customer.
Education and Experience:
* High school diploma required.
* Vocational/technical school training or apprenticeship required.
* Five years of related experience .
