Ideally (although not essential) you will have worked in Housing, Property or Construction as this knowledge will be useful in your work.
Working 2 to 3 days in our office with our friendly team in Letchworth Garden City and the remainder at home/remote.

About The Role
In this fast‑paced and varied role, you’ll provide essential administrative support to Planned Works Surveyors, ensuring projects run smoothly from start to finish. You’ll be at the heart of coordinating improvement works, working closely with residents, contractors and internal teams to deliver high‑quality services on time and within budget.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Supporting the delivery of planned investment projects to agreed time, cost and quality standards
* Coordinating appointments with residents and maintaining accurate records of bookings, dealing with refusals and access issues using a combination of assertiveness and sensitivity
* Preparing and managing works orders and contract documentation
* Handling customer queries professionally and ensuring timely responses
* Maintaining accurate data within asset management systems
* Supporting the contractor payment process, including purchase orders and invoice checks
* Assisting with KPI (Key Performance Indicator) reporting and contract performance monitoring
* Taking minutes at meetings and supporting wider project administration
Must Haves
* Strong administrative experience in a busy environment
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask
* High attention to detail and accuracy when working with data and figures
* Confident IT skills, including Excel, Word and Outlook
* Experience raising purchase orders and processing invoices
* Strong problem‑solving skills and a practical, common‑sense approach
* Team player with excellent communication skills
Nice to haves
* Experience in contract administration or property/services environment
* Knowledge of Decent Home Standards

Working Hours
* 37 hours; Monday to Thursday 9am to 5:30pm and 9am to 5pm on Friday.
