Job Summary
We are seeking experienced candidates with expertise in treating both pelvic health and orthopedic patients.
Provides therapy to patients based on their needs and medical direction. Offers patient and caregiver education and arranges for adaptive equipment as necessary.
Essential Functions
1. Performs evaluation procedures to assess the level of disability, develop goals, and create a treatment plan, making appropriate recommendations.
2. Provides a treatment program and education to restore and maximize patient function. Assesses treatment effectiveness and modifies goals/treatment methods as needed.
3. Documents evaluations and treatments in compliance with departmental standards, legal, and reimbursement guidelines.
4. Instructs and trains other rehabilitation staff, nursing, medical personnel, and students regarding patient needs and rehabilitation services.
5. Participates in process improvement, patient satisfaction initiatives, program development, and marketing activities.
6. Demonstrates productivity according to departmental standards.
7. Enhances skills through continuing education, participating in competency assessments, and developing new patient care concepts for diverse populations.
