A fast-growing consumer brand is seeking an experienced Sole Legal Counsel to join the business in a newly created, standalone role supporting senior leadership.
The position will involve leading on UK retail property matters, including negotiating lease renewals, rent reviews and new site acquisitions across prime retail locations. The role will also advise on a broad range of commercial contracts, support international franchising arrangements, and oversee brand and IP protection while working with external counsel where required.
Candidates must have strong commercial law and property law experience, including retail leasing, and be comfortable operating as the sole legal advisor in a commercial, fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will bring the confidence to negotiate directly with major landlords while supporting the wider business on day-to-day legal and commercial matters.
