We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mentor and Tutor to work with two Key Stage 3 students in the Portsmouth area for between 21-25 hours per week. As a Mentor/Tutor, you will: Drive the young person from home and school and undertake mentoring activities in the community. Understand the needs, interests and goals of the young person that you are mentoring, to plan engaging tasks/ activities. Assist the young person in your care to develop their confidence. Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their full potential. Record student progress and report on this weekly. Be understanding, empathetic and patient. Record attendance.
