Respiratory Physiology at ULHT is looking for 2 full‑time flexible and motivated Respiratory Physiologists to meet the needs of the service. The post holder will be required to support the day‑to‑day running of the respiratory physiology service, perform reports and supervise complex specialised investigative procedures to ensure an efficient service. Posts are based at Pilgrim Hospital, Boston and Lincoln County Hospital with Trust‑wide working.
The role involves providing a specialist clinical technical service through resource management, quality control of equipment, education of the health‑care profession, and contributing to the development of procedures and services.
Involvement in all aspects of physiological measurement carried out in the Respiratory Physiology department, including using a variety of equipment and techniques to measure and monitor respiratory function for inpatients and outpatients, assessing lung disease, and long‑term oxygen therapy assessment in an outpatient setting.
Sleep assessment and management of CPAP, review and development of exercise testing.
