You will make sure we can delight our customers by achieving a high standards of food quality and presentation; in line with company standards and that adequate quantities are produced to fulfil the requirements of the business. Your will also; · Adhere to the production schedule ensuring sufficient products are made for anticipated levels of trade and enabling us to delight our customers Follow established recipes to ensure that products are of a consistent taste, presentation and quality Report and escalate any issues that may affect production and quality to the team leader or line manager and assist in finding a solution Take an active role in the transition of new menu items Assist stock controllers in receiving, checking and storing deliveries correctly, ensuring effective stock rotation at all times Maintain a clean, tidy and safe environment for colleagues Work as part of the larger catering team where necessary, using flexibility and your initiative to change your own activities to meet different circumstances Maintain company record sheets as appropriate and in accordance with HACCP and our Food Safety Management system About You Previous experience working in a bakery or food production environment would be an advantage but full training will be given. A passion for food but baking in particular is required.
